Nexium 24HR - Dosage Instructions

Do not take Nexium 24HR if you:

  • are allergic to esmolol or any of the ingredients in the esmolol 24HR

  • take medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), including phenelzine (Naxo) and isocarboxazid (Marplan)

  • take medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), including isocarboxazid (Marplan) and linezolid (Zyvox).

  • have severe liver or kidney disease

  • have serious heart or nervous system problems

  • are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, are pregnant or are breast-feeding, or are breastfeeding

  • are allergic to esmolol or any of the ingredients in the esmolol 24HR, or any of the ingredients of the product in the product package

Take esmolol 24HR exactly as prescribed

Take Nexium 24HR by mouth, with or without food. Do not take Nexium 24HR more than once a day.

The maximum recommended dose is 40 mg. Do not take a double dose to make up the difference.

Follow all directions on your prescription label and box

Nexium 24HR should not be taken during or at the same time as medicines called MAOIs, including phenelzine (Naxo) and isocarboxazid (Marplan).
