(3 cases), the patient had a sudden death at the age of 40 years due to aortic aneurysm. A patient’s heart valve disease caused by omeprazole is a rare but potentially serious complication.
(2 cases), a patient who had aortic aneurysm had a severe and life-threatening reaction, which resulted in the discontinuation of omeprazole. The patient received anastrozole (AstraZeneca) at a dosage of 20 mg/kg/day, while her heart valve disease caused by omeprazole is a rare, life-threatening condition.
(2 cases), an allergic reaction to omeprazole led to discontinuation of the drug. The patient was prescribed Nexium, which had been discontinued due to an allergic reaction. The patient was prescribed omeprazole (Prilosec) at a dosage of 20 mg/kg/day for seven days, and her symptoms disappeared.

It is the first prescription drug for a gastroenterological agent to be launched in the UK. The product, which is based on omeprazole, is a proton pump inhibitor that is specifically designed to reduce the acidity of gastric acid.
The new drug is a combination of two active ingredients: esomeprazole and lansoprazole. The active ingredient, omeprazole, is the same in all three forms and has a similar effect against acidity, but is less effective in treating the symptoms of GERD. This is because omeprazole acts by blocking the enzyme that produces the proton pump, the proton pump inhibitor.
GSK launched the new product, named Nexium, in June 2013 and in December 2013 the company launched the product, in the UK.
The Nexium product is the second in a series of gastroenterological drugs launched in the UK in the last few years. It is the first of these to be launched in the US.
